Seven days is the "Goldilocks" duration for a safari—not too short, not too long. Our 7-day Kenya safaris are designed to minimize driving time and maximize wildlife viewing.
Day 1: Arrival & The Great Rift Valley
We pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). The journey begins with a scenic drive to the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. We descend to Lake Naivasha for a sunset boat ride with hippos.
Day 2: Hell’s Gate to Masai Mara
Morning cycle or walk in Hell’s Gate. Then, we drive to the legendary Masai Mara. Arrive in time for an evening game drive. The first sight of the endless plains is unforgettable.
Day 3: Full Day in the Mara
Sunrise game drive. This is when the big cats are active. We take a packed picnic lunch to the Mara River, waiting for a potential crossing (in season) or watching hippos wallow.
Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
A final morning drive in the Mara before heading to Lake Nakuru. This park is a rhino sanctuary, offering your best chance to see both Black and White Rhinos.
Day 5: Nakuru to Amboseli
A longer drive today, but worth it. We arrive in Amboseli as the clouds often clear off Mount Kilimanjaro. Evening game drive focusing on elephant herds.
Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli
With the mountain as your backdrop, we explore the swamps and dry lake beds. This is a photographer's dream. Optional visit to a Maasai Village to learn about the local culture.
Day 7: Return to Nairobi
A leisurely breakfast and a final game run as we exit the park. We drop you off in Nairobi or at the airport, hearts full of memories.
